A\N Apparently, I have a poetic vein in my body -- still pulsing.
----
----
----
there's violence
in your heart
that shatters hope
in fragments,
kaleidoscopic
and mundane.
----
you break down
on a dislocated knee,
teemed with gargled noise
like a gargoyle with fish
behind its ears
and Harpies screeching
from old wounds.
----
scratch, exhale,
scratch, exhale,
inhale, whimper,
noteworthy of your
attention,
a hagiography of nonsense
blessed by the morning's dew.

Date: 2015-12-02 01:35 pm (UTC)When I first wrote them, I intended them to be just one poem, but then I realized that the stanzas didn't quite link to one another, so I left them like this.
I have to admit that the first one reminds me of haiku, even though it's longer and it doesn't respect the 5-7-5 rule.
Besides, I found that it's a good way to learn new words in english like kaleidoscopic, teemed, gargled and hagiography. That was the main purpose of these stanzas.
I started my writing 'career' with poems in my native language. Now I'm more of a prose type of person, but once every blue moon my poetic vein resurfaces and I get these XD
